By placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this store.
What we sell
Aurel sells digital wallpaper sets. Every product is a downloadable file. Nothing is shipped to you physically.
Each set contains the number of designs stated on its product page. Every design is supplied in a version formatted for phone screens and a version formatted for desktop screens.
Prices and payment
All prices are shown in [currency] and include VAT where applicable. VAT on digital services is charged according to the rules of the country where you are located, and the exact amount is shown at checkout before you pay.
Payment is taken in full at the time of purchase. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.
How an order works
When you complete checkout, your order is confirmed and a contract is formed between you and us. You will receive an order confirmation by email, followed by access to your files.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud, a pricing error, or a breach of these terms. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
Delivery
Files are delivered digitally. A download link appears on the order confirmation page and is also sent to the email address you provided at checkout.
Delivery is normally immediate. If your files have not arrived within one hour, check your spam folder first, then contact us at hello@aurelarts.com and we will resend them.
It is your responsibility to provide a working email address. We are not able to deliver files to an address that does not exist or that rejects our messages.
Your right to cancel, and why it ends
Under EU consumer law you normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance purchase. For digital content that is delivered immediately, that right ends once delivery begins, provided you have given your express consent and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal.
At checkout you are asked to confirm both of these. Once you have confirmed and the download has been made available to you, the sale is final.
This does not affect your rights if the files are faulty. See our Refund Policy.
How you may use the files
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the designs on devices you own. The full terms of that licence, including what is not permitted, are set out in our Licence Terms, which form part of this agreement.
We retain all intellectual property rights in the artwork. Buying a set does not transfer ownership of the artwork to you.
What we are responsible for
We provide the files as described on the product page. We do not guarantee that a particular design will suit a particular device, that colours will render identically on every screen, or that the store will be available without interruption.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protections of your own country, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
You may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
